FINALLY……I’ve gotten to this post!

before i get started, I do have a surprise mini guest post from the lovely couple!

- Our wedding day was perfect. Perfect weather, perfect decorations, and most of all, a perfect crowd. Jason and I could not be happier with the way things turned out. We would like to thank everyone who traveled to Destin to be a part of the most important day of our lives. We enjoyed making memories with you all and we hope you had a great time celebrating with us.

Back at the beginning of September (it feels like FOREVER ago…), I traveled down to Destin, FL to witness Kathy & Jason’s marriage!!!

Y’all…this meant a long weekend FULL of beach, laughter, reminiscing and making memories!! It was a BLAST, to say the least!

We were there Thursday through Monday of Labor Day Weekend! Dinner on Thursday was at the BACK PORCH!!!! My favorite :) They have the best raspberry lemonade cocktail...YUM!





Friday was a low-key day...the weather was clearing up from hurricane Isaac so we went to the beach (I might or might not have fallen asleep on the beach...Oops...) and had pompano Joe’s for lunch! The rest of the afternoon was full of beach and pool and hanging out! That night, we went to Dewey Destin’s for dinner with Veda, Summer & Ariel! We got there JUST in time to see the sunset :) GORGEOUS!

After the wedding party finished with the rehearsal dinner, we all gathered and hung out at the hotel bar!

Saturday was THE Day…it started at the hair salon where all the girls got their hair and make-up done. We went to take a few pictures and then grab lunch at AJ’s down at the Destin harbor!



I was able to snap a few pictures before the wedding while the photographers did their thing!!

it was awesome to see everyone and get to spend time catching up over dinner at the reception!

After the wedding & reception, everyone hung out at the hotel & went down to the beach until 3 AM!

Sunday was definitely a BEACH DAY!!!! We all went to the beach and it was nice enough to get in the water, sunbathe &have fun! everyone...meaning twenty three of us, had dinner at AJ's Seafood & Oyster bar on Sunday night! we got to see the sunday night fireworks at the harbor once we got seated which was great! It was a great ending to a spectacular weekend! 

Monday was lunch at Fudpucker's with Ariel, Summer & Rebekah!! Love me some Fudpucker's! We visited gator beach after eating and before hitting the road!
